Day-1: Arrival in Cochin
Arrive at Cochin International Airport where our representative greets you and transfers you to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a heritage walk in Fort Kochi, visiting the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Jew Town. In the evening, attend a traditional Kathakali performance, an expressive dance-drama of Kerala. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day-2: Cochin – Backwater Cruise in Alleppey (Approx. 60 km / 1.5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, the gateway to Kerala’s tranquil backwaters. Board a private houseboat and cruise through scenic canals lined with swaying palms and village life. Enjoy freshly cooked traditional Kerala meals on board as you relax and unwind in nature. Overnight stay on the houseboat. Optional: Practice sunset meditation on the deck.
Day-3: Alleppey – Varkala (Yoga Retreat Check-in) (Approx. 110 km / 3 hrs)
After disembarking from the houseboat post breakfast, drive to Varkala, a coastal town known for its spiritual aura and cliffside views of the Arabian Sea. Check in at your Yoga & Ayurveda retreat. Attend a short orientation and meet your yoga instructor and Ayurvedic consultant. Evening Participate in a calming guided meditation session. Overnight stay in Varkala.
Day-4: Varkala – Yoga & Ayurveda Sessions
Begin your day with sunrise yoga overlooking the sea, followed by pranayama (breath control). Enjoy an Ayurvedic breakfast based on your dosha type. Later, experience a personalized Ayurvedic therapy like Abhyanga or Shirodhara. Afternoon Attend a yoga philosophy workshop or nature walk on the Varkala cliffs. Evening meditation session. Overnight at retreat.
Day-5: Varkala – Deepen Your Practice
Another day dedicated to deepening your wellness experience. Start with morning Ashtanga or Hatha Yoga, and follow up with a healthy satvik meal. Explore Janardanaswamy Temple or relax by Papanasam Beach, considered holy for ritual baths. Overnight at retreat. Optional: Ayurvedic cooking demo or private consultation with your wellness guide. Evening guided chanting or yoga nidra session.
Day-6: Varkala – Detox & Relax
Today’s focus is on rejuvenation. Start with yoga detox flow, followed by herbal steam therapy and a rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage. Spend the afternoon journaling, reading, or simply enjoying solitude. Optional therapies like Panchakarma consultation are available. Evening Sunset meditation and mantra chanting. Overnight stay at retreat.
Day-7: Varkala – Leisure Day / Personal Practice
A flexible day for leisure or personal practice. Continue your daily yoga sessions, Ayurvedic diet, and treatments. You may choose to visit local markets or cliff cafés for herbal teas or souvenirs. Overnight stay at the yoga retreat.
Optional: Sound healing or silent beach walk.
Day-8: Varkala – Kovalam (Approx. 55 km / 1.5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to the beach resort town of Kovalam, known for its crescent-shaped beaches and laid-back vibes. Check in to a beachside Ayurvedic resort. Rest of the day at leisure – enjoy the beach, relax by the pool, or try an introductory massage. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day-9: Kovalam – Ayurveda & Coastal Bliss
Start your day with a gentle beach yoga session, followed by Ayurvedic treatments recommended by your on-site doctor. Visit Lighthouse Beach or take an optional catamaran ride. Evening: Enjoy a sunset walking meditation or a candlelight dinner with Ayurvedic cuisine. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day-10: Kovalam – Day Excursion to Trivandrum (Approx. 16 km / 30 min)
Drive to Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. Visit the sacred Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the wealthiest temples in the world. Explore the Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Palace, and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Return to Kovalam in the evening. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day-11: Kovalam – Ayurvedic Rejuvenation
Enjoy your final full day of wellness with customized treatments, yoga classes, and peaceful reflection. Overnight stay in Kovalam. Optional: Attend a farewell group satsang (spiritual gathering) at your resort.
Day-12: Departure from Trivandrum
After breakfast, check out from the resort and transfer to Trivandrum International Airport for your return flight. Depart with peace, vitality, and a renewed spirit.
